2021 Reflection

Reflecting on the year 2021

Another year gone by, entering 2021 gung-ho, with the first year of the pandemic under foot. Vaccines were rolled out beginning to bring back a sense of normalcy. Travel resumed and sports and entertainment events returned. The virus not only created a pandemic but also a deep divide. The vaxxed and the un-vaxxed. Individual freedom vs. collective good. people vs. those other people. Then darn variants emerged, and the world continued to grapple - hoping still to turn pandemic into endemic.

Yes, I total get 2021 hasn’t been a piece of cake - the year was filled with tremendous uncertainty, rising inflation, increasing divide, supply chain woes, and a virus that just won’t quit.

Despite all the challenges the year brought in 2021 - it has also given me plenty to be thankful for personally and professionally. Below is what I am thankful for and my key takeaways for the past year.

My Clients

I have the greatest clients in the world and when I reflect on all the people I have worked with in 2021, I can’t help but notice just how fortunate I am to have so many people, families, and businesses invite me into their lives.

To all my clients, whom I have helped with organizing your home, supporting your moves/transitions, or designing your closets. I just wanted to again say THANK YOU. You have trusted me with your spaces and so much more in 2021 and I am forever thankful.

My Avid Readers

For those of you that we haven’t worked with in 2021 but are avid readers of the blog, engage with me on Instagram or facebook or just write me emails, I also wanted to express my sincere gratitude to you. 2021 has shown me the power of connection through the use of technology (even though I have a love hate relationship with it).

So to wrap it up. I wanted to thank you all for helping define 2021. Through all the changes, challenges, and difficulty we continue to preserve.

Here’s to moving forward with hope and renewed spirits!

With Gratitude & Grace,

Leah Morris
